#IrishAbroad: Lee Cronin’s Ghost Train chosen for Little Terrors’ Minutes Past Midnight
We’re hugely fond of Lee Cronin’s horror short Ghost Trainaround these parts, so we’re very happy to hear that the film has been selected as one of nine stories in the first release of the Little Terrors anthology Minutes Past Midnight.
The anthology features films curated from the long-running Toronto-based short film festival Little Terrors. The first release, titled Minutes Past Midnight, is set for a limited theatrical release in the US in early October, followed by North American VOD on October 18th , then DVD on February 7th , 2017.
Ghost Train sees estranged brothers Michael and Peter make a reluctant annual pilgrimage to the old fairground yard where their friend Sam went missing when they were boys. This year, Michael has something to tell Peter that will cast light on the incident, something that will change the rest of their lives.
The film stars Owen McDonnell, Steve Wall, Matthew Dillon, and Sean Gormley, and features superb cinematography from Tom Comerford. It is produced by John Keville and Ulla Simonen.
