#Awards: Applications open for 2016 ICCL Human Rights Film Awards

iccl-image Applications are now open for the 2016 ICCL Human Rights Film Awards.

Founded in 2009 by the Irish Council for Civil Liberties (ICCL), the ICCL Human Rights Film Awards is open to amateur and professional filmmakers internationally who wish to engage with a human rights issue through the submission of a short film, with a duration of 12 minutes or less.

The competition has attracted a host of outstanding films and filmmaking talent since its launch in 2009. Examples of past shortlisted entries are available to view on the competition website – www.humanrightsfilmawards.org.

Shortlisted films are selected by renowned experts in the film industry, including award-winning writers, directors, producers, animators and actors.
