In Production: Kamila Dydyna’s LGBT thriller The Betrayal

The Betrayal, a short Irish LGBT thriller, directed by Kamila Dydyna and Natasha Waugh, started filming in Dublin last weekend.

The film addresses sexual identity and LGBT issues, domestic violence and digital abuse. Written by Kamila Dydyna (Testimony) and produced by Driftwood Doll Films (Eilis Abbott and Michael O’Dwyer), with cinematography by Gosia Zur (Monged), the film is set for release in April 2016.

The Betrayal features Miriam Devitt, Mark McAuley and Kamila Dydyna in leading roles, with Gwen Jeffares-Hourie looking after costume & set design, Drew Maitland as AD, Michael Browne as Make Up Artist, and Rafal Kostrzewa as stills photographer.
