Keith O’Grady’s Saving Santa has been officially selected to play in competition at the LIM Awards at the Foyle Film Festival 2017, as well as playing the Waterford Film Festival and Richard Harris International Film Festival in Limerick.
The film follows a little girl who is still dealing with her mother’s death and comes across a seemingly destitute man who bears a striking resemblance to Santa Claus. Despite his protestations, she takes comfort in helping him.
Saving Santa stars Éva Morris, Paul Ronan, and Gordon Fulton. It is written by Jonathan Fulton, with Angus Mitchell as Director of Photography and Gerry Cooke as Editor. It is produced by Keith O’Grady for Brassneck Productions and financed by Northern Ireland Screen.
The film is also an official selection at the Rome International Film festival and recently played at the Cinemagic Film Festival in Belfast. Last month it won Best Short Film (Ireland) at the Disappear Here Festival in Donegal.
