David Magnier’s short film Buoy to premiere at 31st Galway Film Fleadh

David Magnier’s new short film Buoy will have its world premiere at the 31st Galway Film Fleadh on Thursday, July 11th at 10am playing in the Irish Talent: New Shorts 2, Fiction programme.

A young man throws himself off a lighthouse to end it all, but it’s only the beginning.

The film is written and directed by David Magnier, starring David Thompson and produced by Dave Minogue and David Magnier. It was shot by Burschi Wojnar, with VFX by Brian Ali Harding.

Buoy has been a real labour of love for David. It has taken approximately three and a half years to see the film come to fruition. It was a crazy ambitious project and David has worked tirelessly to get his vision across. We’re delighted to premiere Buoy at Galway, it’s a fantastic festival that really champions Irish shorts and the work thats going on in Ireland.
