#FleadhShorts: Andrew Jordan’s A Long Shot a sure bet for the 28th Galway Film Fleadh
Heading to the 28th Galway Film Fleadh is IADT graduation short film, A Long Shot, from director Andrew Jordan.
The film¬†tells the story of a couple whose love is tested when Larry bets all of their money on Ireland to win and Shane Long to score against Germany in the qualifier for Euro 2016.
Mark Huberman (A Dark Song) and Se√°na Kerslake (A Date for Mad Mary) star in the lead roles, with support from¬†Ste Murray (Eipic), Geraldine McAlinden (The Secret Scripture), Liam Burke (Positive Discrimination), and Sara Byrne.
Director Jordan’s¬†previous film Dive screened as part of the Galway Film Fleadh’s Way Out West programme two years ago, and won the Junior Fleadh, and was screened in numerous festivals across Europe.
A Long Shot is produced by Jordan and¬†Bobby Byrne¬†for¬†production company AJ Film, with Matthew Rogan as cinematographer,¬†Neil Horner as sound designer and composer and Conor Maguire as editor.
