Event: Deadline approaching for ICCL Human Rights Film Awards

The deadline for applications to the 2015 ICCL Human Rights Film Awards is fast approaching.

The ICCL Human Rights Film Awards is Ireland’s only human rights themed short film competition, which calls on amateur and professional filmmakers at home and internationally to explore human rights themes through the media of film.

Founded in 2009 by the Irish Council for Civil Liberties (ICCL), the competition has attracted a host of outstanding films and filmmaking talent. Examples of past shortlisted entries are available to view on the competition website.

Shortlisted films are selected by renowned experts in the film industry, including award-winning writers, directors, producers, animators and actors.

Film entries must be of a duration of 12 minutes or less.

The deadline for entries is April 15th.
