Bord Scannán na hÉireann/the Irish Film Board (IFB) has announced the successful projects in the latest round of itsFrameworks short film scheme. The successful projects are: A Cat Called Jam, Lady Isabel & the Elf Knight, Nitelink, and Hedy.

The closing date for script applications for Film In Cork's 2018 Short Script Award is 5pm, this coming Friday, April 6th. The award will be given to one successful project which will receive €8,000 towards the cost of production of the film.
The Dingle International Film Festival wrapped up last night with the winner of the annual Físín pitching competition being announced. Tristan Heanue's script Ciúnas (Silence) was the selected project and will receive a cash prize along with equipment rental from Vast Valley Ltd.
Rememberer, the winner of last year's "March on Film" contest, will be broadcast as part of RTÉ's Shortscreen series on RTÉ2 on Monday, 26th March.
